I Wondered if there was a quick way of raising the suspension on the Mk3 type 6? ..55 plate Shoggie.

On the Mk2 I believe there to be a Torsion bar tweek and shove some lwb springs on the back to give an extra 2" hieght, So I was hoping that there was something similar a tweek on the 55 model ..

Any Ideas ? or has anyone raised theirs and if so what was involved.
Thanks in Advance.
Eleg.

Eleg - in a word ... No.

You can't do a body lift as per the older Shoguns/Paj with a chassis. You can fit longer springs such as OME from Offroad24.com or you can fit spacers to your springs to raise a little. Probably about 2". I'm not sure if you can do the torsion bar mod as well on our model? Confess I'm not sure?

I fitted Old Man Emu springs and dampers to my 2003 swb Shogun about 2 or 3 years ago and although expensive have never regretted it and has give a useful 2" lift. Also tightened up the handling of the vehicle too.

If you look up SubZero on t'other forum as believe he can supply spring spacers for a cheaper lift and think he supplies through Ebay as well
